The National Communication Association Joins 31 Groups to Oppose Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy’s $134 Million in Proposed Funding Cuts for Higher Education
(Washington, DC)—The National Communication Association joins 31 professional societies in a letter to Alaska’s Governor Mike Dunleavy and other political leaders expressing deep concerns with the Governor’s proposed funding cuts for higher education. Governor Dunleavy is proposing a $134 million reduction in state support for the University of Alaska that will have devastating consequences to the well-being of the state. Read the full letter.
