NCA Convention Central Is Open for Submissions
Submissions for the 106th NCA Annual Convention, to be held November 19–22, 2020, in Indianapolis, Indiana, are now open! NCA First Vice President David McMahan selected “Communication at the Crossroads” as the theme of this year’s convention to provide attendees with special opportunities to come together and to examine and discuss future directions for research, teaching, and the Communication discipline itself. Crossroads symbolize connection and convergence of scholarship, choice and direction for research and teaching, and choice and direction for the discipline. The theme was also selected because Indiana is known as the “Crossroads of America” due to its central location. Indianapolis is within a day’s drive for most of the U.S. population and is home to a flourishing culinary scene and amazing museums.
The submission deadline is Wednesday, March 25, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To view calls and create a submission, please visit NCA Convention Central. You do not need to have an NCA Convention Central account or be logged in to view the calls. Although you do not need to be an NCA member to submit, you do need to have or create a Convention Central account. Useful tips as well as step-by-step instructions on how to submit can be found in the Convention Resource Library.
