The Caribbean Caucus serves NCA members and the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion mission by cultivating and engaging in research and promoting education on the uniquely diverse Caribbean region. From Communication topics such as culture, identity, migration, performance, music, media, and social justice, to topics like climate change, health communication, digital technology and more, the Caribbean Caucus highlights the importance, relevance, contribution, and value of Communication research about the Caribbean region. The goal of the Caribbean Caucus is to cultivate, promote, and support Caribbean research in our discipline. It is a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive home for scholars working on topics about the Caribbean and those seeking to better understand the region and its global presence.
