National Communication Association Announces 2018 Awards Winners for Outstanding Scholarship, Teaching, and Service
(Washington, DC)—Each year, the National Communication Association (NCA) honors the best in academic communication, presenting awards for outstanding scholarship, teaching, and professional service. The awards recognize a wide range of contributions to the communication discipline.
This year, 29 scholars and teachers will receive awards at the NCA 104th Annual Convention in Salt Lake City for achievements in 23 categories, including excellence in scholarship, distinguished service, debut publication, outstanding teaching, doctoral dissertation, and more.

Recipients will be honored at the Presidential Address and Awards Presentation, which begins at 5:00 p.m. MT on Saturday, November 10, at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
