National Communication Association Announces 2019 Award Winners
Each year, the National Communication Association (NCA) honors the best in academic Communication, presenting awards for outstanding scholarship, teaching, and professional service. The awards recognize a wide range of contributions to the Communication discipline.
This year, 30 Communication scholars will receive awards at the NCA 105th Annual Convention in Baltimore, for achievements in 23 categories including distinguished service, debut publication, outstanding teaching, doctoral dissertation, and many others.

Recipients will be honored at the Presidential Address and Awards Presentation, which will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, at the Hilton Baltimore.
The National Communication Association (NCA) advances Communication as the discipline that studies all forms, modes, media, and consequences of communication through humanistic, social scientific, and aesthetic inquiry.
