On April 26, NCA held the first 2022 Conversation with NCA Leadership. Nearly 50 NCA members attended the virtual conversation, where NCA President Roseann Mandziuk led a focused discussion about NCA’s strategic plan development. Highlights included two breakout sessions, one that allowed participants to discuss draft mission and vision statements and another that included small group discussion of draft goals and objectives. The conversation concluded with a brief Q&A session.
President Mandziuk also outlined the strategic planning process and previewed next steps. In June, NCA Executive Committee members will meet with a consultant and will incorporate member feedback into their work. Our curent plan is to make a full draft of the strategic plan available to members in August, to hold a second conversation with NCA leadership the following month, and to have a final draft of the strategic plan completed by October 1. Finally, at the NCA 108th Annual Convention in November, the plan will be presented to the NCA Legislative Assembly for adoption.
