A second Conversation with NCA Leadership was held on August 24. In attendance were NCA President David T. McMahan, First Vice President Roseann M. Mandziuk, Second Vice President Walid Afifi, Immediate Past President Kent Ono, and Interim Executive Director Linda Taliaferro. Nearly 90 participants joined the call to hear about 2021 convention plans, the Executive Director search, initiatives related to anti-Asian violence and bystander intervention, and more.
Much of the conversation focused on the upcoming NCA 107th Annual Convention. Topics discussed during the hour-long conversation included what participants should do if they need to cancel a presentation or panel, state and local guidance regarding mask requirements, and other issues related to attending and participating in the NCA 107th Annual Convention.
